The Verizon is preparing its own tablet PC together with hitherto unknown manufacturer, but this software will make use of Google to the device. The confirmation comes from the CEO of Verizon Wireless, Lowell McAdam, who said in an interview that the American operator is working in partnership with Google for marketing the Tablet Android. The CEO of Verizon, confirmed to the Wall Street Journal that the collaboration with Google is in the pipeline, to be managed by Verizon to compete with AT & T with a device like the iPad.
The Verizon does not disclose the manufacturer or a timetable, while the Google refuses to comment on anything related to Verizon, highlighting features that any company can use open source software for creating mobile devices.
Verizon is already constructing a new network to replace existing technology CDMA and hopes to have devices ready for operation in early 2011, which can reproduce stream videos at speeds comparable to or greater than the AT & T.
Google is all set to host a developer event returns to San Francisco, the conference will be held May 19 and perhaps Google will be revealed some details.
