Ok Guys! Let's face it, GreenPois0n is just (hours / days) away from you! It may be released today or tomorrow (i'm sure it's coming out this week). So, I received a bunch of questions about GreenPois0n, here's my full review that will answer every1's wonders and questions.
First of all, GreenPois0n is based on SHAtter exploit discovered first by Pod2g. SHAtter exploit is a low-bootrom exploit which acts & works on the bootrom itself. This means that Apple will not be able to catch this loophole in the next iOS update, the jailbreak continues FOREVER.
Here's the supported devices for the jailbreak:
- iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G on iOS 4.1 and older
- iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 2G on iOS 4.1 and older
- iPad on iOS 3.2.2 and older
Oh, about the iOS 4.2, it will also jailbreak it as I said, it jailbreaks FOREVER.
Wondering about the unlock? We are not working on the unlock yet.. But Sherif Hashim and some members of the dev team are working on finding crashes for the baseband 05.14 and 02.14.. YES, GreenPois0n will hacktivate iPhone 4
